CRAZY KID!

Unfortunately the scenario I'm about to unfold happens all too often around here.
Here I am at my computer checking emails, annoyed by the birds I can hear in my chimney, when what do I hear? It is something on my roof, a little too big to be a squirrel or a rat. lol. I immediately run outside and yell....

Me: WHO IS ON THE ROOF?
BRAYDEN: Him(pointing up at none other than our resident daredevil, Braxton)
ME: BRAXTON TYLER, get down from there right now, but don't jump.
Brax: BUT MOM, I do it all the time.
ME: Not in my presence you don't.
Brax:Dad lets me.
ME: UGH! Just hang onto the gutter and swing down and then drop.
Neighbor Kid: UM...I can catch him.
Me: (rolling my eyes)
Braxton: (swinging off the gutter) weeeeeeeeeeee!!! this is fun!

If I would have been in my right mind I could have had footage of the whole thing. lol.

What is this, forever you don't have any blogs and now you have 2 in 1 day!

That sounds like a trip to the emergency waiting to happen. The joys of a little boy. This might sound crazy, but I hope Pierce brings those expierences in our lives someday. lol

So, he sounds bigger than a squirrel on the roof.

One of my first encounters with Braxton was this lil' 4 year old flying across a bumpy field standing on top of his bike. I'm not a worrier, but that kid scared the crap out of me. Then I realized, that was like CHILDS PLAY compared to what he can do.

I like that you can figure out what a squirrel or a rat sounds like in comparison to your child!! :) I think I probably would ignore it all and keep checking emails!! Sometimes with kids you have to close your eyes and hope it turns out.. thats what health insurance is for right?! :)
