After going into pre term labor twice last week, the Dr's could no longer stop it. Brynn started to go into distress and after my two dr.'s talked about they decided to take the babies c-section on Thursday morning! Good thing I was on drugs during the whole thing. It was pretty crazy!

STILL can't believe they are here!! They are the cutest babies EVER!
Oh so cute!!! I love their names. Congrats!!!
Congrats! I wasn't expecting this post so early. I'm sure the boys are so excited. I can't wait to hear when they get to hold them.
BTW, Eric saw the picture of your little girl and said, "Wow that's a Barneck".
I hope you have a quick recovery Amy and I can't wait to follow the growth of those two beautiful kids.
They look so sweet. I hope that they don't have to stay in the hospital to long. Good luck with everything.
congratulations! they're super cute! i hope everything has calmed down and ya'll are doing ok.
Congratulations on your little babies. I hope the delivery went well. Your babies have terrific weights for their gestation. I hope you are having a good NICU experience. We found that there were nurses we liked better than others. Once we could start dressing them ourselves they started to feel more like they were our babies. I know it was silly to fuss so much on dressing them, but it really helped me to connect since I could not hold them as much as I wanted. (so they could sleep) I found I beat myself up too much for feeling like I couldn't spend as much time with them as other people in the NICU who only had 1 kid and no kids at home to take care of as well. I only slept at the NICU the last few days they were there, otherwise I just went home at night (after the mid-night feeding) so I could be there for my 2 year old when he woke up in the morning--and get some sleep since I knew I wasn't going to get it later! ;) I had super jealously issues with people who were able to carry their babies longer-but I guess that's just silly since I still don't know why my water broke at 33 weeks. Or--people who came to the NICU after us, but got to go home sooner. In the end I'm glad I insisted on breast feeding, even if it meant the girls had to stay a little longer at the NICU. Sorry, this should have been an email. Take care!
