Day 2- Thanksgiving, Valentines and Easter OH MY!

* I stole most pics from my sis Audrey, she did great at taking pics!* Day 2 of the family reunion was a lot of fun, we started out the day with family pics, which with 38 people and 2 cardboard cutouts can be tricky sometimes but for the most part everyone did great! Here's a few of us before, during and after the photo shoot. My sis in law Erica designed the tshirts and each family had their own color. They were really cute and colorful. We have two nephews on missions for the LDS church so we made cutouts of them and brought them along. Next we made Gratitude Journals and Valentine boxes. I didn't get a picture of the valentine boxes but we had a room set up for those and you could leave treats, prizes or notes in anyones box throughout the week. Next on the schedule was an Easter Egg Hunt... Next we had free time, which was so awesome, Brynn and Bo went to sleep and I think I stayed in the pool for about 4 hours that day :) THere was an indoor and outdoor pool. After free time we had an awesome Taco Salad dinner by Brad and Karalee and then it was time for the "Egg"cellent talent show. Everyone did great and it was a lot of fun. HEre are the videos of my kid's talents. :) Well I could only get one video to upload so maybe I will add the others later. :) We had a great Easter story by my brother Bryan and a fun turn down treat then some bunny cookie cake for dessert.

Hyland Family Reunion part 1

This year we had our family reunion in St George, Utah. We anticipated it for months and months and were not disappointed in the least. It was a lot of fun. Our theme was home for the holidays and each day we celebrated a holiday or two. The first night we were there we celebrated Birthdays, and had a big birthday bash, complete with cake, icecream and games. I was in charge of the games so we split into teams and played a fun version of minute to win it. Face the cookie Nutstacker Elephant March & Paper Dragon

It was a fun night we also decorated pillowcases. Each night a family was in charge of a prayer and scripture, a bedtime story and a turndown treat that had to do with the holiday we celebrated. Stay tuned for the next holiday.......
