27 days old!

I will never understand how the time outside the womb goes so much faster than in! It just doesn't make sense.

Today Bo is 5lbs 14 oz and Brynn is 5lbs 9oz. They are doing really good, we are just waiting for them to learn to eat on their own. I never realized what a process this whole thing was. I'm definitely learning lots about preemies and twins. I wish they could be home but glad they are getting such great care in the NICU. Our Dr's and Nurses are great!

Bo and Brynn's room

Thanks to our good friend's Tya and Dave and also some help from Jacob, the babies room turned out great!!! Tya did all the painting, and the men did the chair rail and crown molding. I was in my bed trying to keep the babies inside for a little while longer. Anyways, I think they did a great job especially with the stripes. Thanks Tya!!!!

Also my Mom made the cute name signs that are hanging above their cribs.

So I know the pics aren't the best, but I didn't feel like retaking them. Also, is anyone else annoyed with how you have to put up pics on the blog now?

2 Tiny Miracles

Brynn and Bo are doing so good, today they weighed in at 4lbs 3 oz and 4lbs 7 oz. Brayden and Braxton cheered when I told them. lol. This picture doesn't show it but Bo was taken off the canula today so he is on room air only like his sister. They should be in a pediatric crib by the end of this week.

The Boys got to see Brynn this week, the nurse brought her out to the nurses station so they could see her and say hi. They won't let any siblings in the NICU right now because of the swine flu. They were excited!

After going into pre term labor twice last week, the Dr's could no longer stop it. Brynn started to go into distress and after my two dr.'s talked about they decided to take the babies c-section on Thursday morning! Good thing I was on drugs during the whole thing. It was pretty crazy!
